Owners on Basic plans and above can view food and retail stock, spot low-stock items, record stock in, waste or corrections, and create purchase orders that stay under their control until approved.
When popular items run out mid-service, staff have to turn customers away or scramble for substitutes. Over-ordering ties up cash and risks waste. NHY inventory gives owners a single place to see what is on hand for menu items and retail products, flag items that have fallen below a minimum level, and record every change so the numbers stay accurate.
A realistic example: Rahul runs a café that also sells packaged snacks. On his Basic plan he opens Inventory, switches to the Low stock tab and sees that masala chips have dropped to 4 packs against a minimum of 10. He taps the item, chooses Stock in, enters 20 packs from the delivery that just arrived, and adds a note. The quantity updates immediately. Later he creates a purchase order for the next delivery of coffee beans and filter paper, reviews the draft, and approves it. Nothing is sent to a supplier until he decides to place the order himself.
Product limits still apply: Free 50 items, Basic 200, Professional and higher unlimited. Inventory tracking itself has no separate monthly quota beyond those product limits.
Owners see current stock for both kitchen ingredients and retail products in one place, get a clear list of items that need attention, and keep a record of every adjustment. Purchase-order drafts help plan the next delivery without the system ordering on its own.

No. You create and approve purchase-order drafts. Placing the order with your supplier is still your step.
Yes. Separate Food and Retail tabs keep the lists clear. Low stock combines both when items fall below their minimums.
The sold-out toggle hides the item from guest QR ordering and rejects new orders for it. Inventory tracking continues to show the on-hand quantity so you know when to restock and turn the item back on.
