Link your number once. Ask in English, Hindi or Hinglish for today’s totals, low stock or open orders — with free monthly messages, then credits.

Owners and managers leave the floor. A supplier run, a school pickup, or a late evening still needs a number: how much came in, which item is running out, whether table 4 is still open. Opening the full NHY app works, but a short WhatsApp message is faster when you are already in the chat.
The NHY WhatsApp Assistant is that number for your store. You link your WhatsApp once from Settings. After that you can ask about sales, stock, orders, kitchen, appointments and more. Changes always ask you to confirm first.
A café owner steps out to collect paneer and gets a call: “How are we doing?” Without the assistant the answer is “I’ll check when I get back.” With it the answer is a message you can read while the vendor weighs the tray.
Staff already use WhatsApp for everything else. Adding a store-aware assistant keeps the same app and removes the need to remember a separate login during a busy shift or after closing.
Priya owns Harbour Cafe. She links her WhatsApp in NHY Settings. On the way to the market she types “sales today”. The assistant replies with the total and the number of bills. She asks “low stock” and sees two items below their minimum. Later she receives the optional daily closing report at the hour she chose. None of this required opening the app.
You can link more than one number. Daily closing reports and low-stock alerts can be switched on or off for each number, and the report hour is set in India time. Disconnect any number from the same screen or by sending UNLINK.
The assistant understands English, Hindi and Hinglish. It does not invent numbers; it reads the live store data for your tenant.
The WhatsApp Assistant is available to owners and managers on every plan, including Free. There is no separate subscription gate for the feature itself. Every store receives the same free message allowance: 100 messages per calendar month and a maximum of 20 per day. After that, each additional message uses a small number of AI credits (platform fee plus the WhatsApp message cost). Connecting your own AI provider account in Connectors lets the model portion run without Nautical credits.
| Plan | WhatsApp owner assistant |
|---|---|
| Free | 100 free messages/month (20/day); then credits |
| Basic | 100 free messages/month (20/day); then credits |
| Professional | 100 free messages/month (20/day); then credits |
| Enterprise | 100 free messages/month (20/day); then credits |
| Enterprise Plus | 100 free messages/month (20/day); then credits |
Usage appears in the same Settings section: free messages left this month and any credits spent. The allowance resets at the start of each calendar month in India time. High-risk actions such as refunds stay in the app and are never offered on WhatsApp.
The assistant is a convenience layer on top of the same data and permissions you already have in the app. It does not replace the full NHY interface for complex work or for actions that require extra confirmation in the product.
Yes. You can write in English, Hindi or mixed Hinglish. The assistant replies in clear language and still shows confirmations in a form you can tap or type.
Additional messages use AI credits. You see the remaining free count and any rupees of credits used in Settings. Connecting your own AI account reduces the Nautical credit cost for the model part of the reply.
