Set up percentage or flat discount codes with minimum order amounts and usage limits so guests can enter them at QR checkout.

Owners often want to run a short promotion — a weekday offer, a festival discount, or a thank-you for regulars — without printing new menus or training staff on every change. NHY lets you create discount codes that guests type themselves when they order from a table QR or a store-wide link.
The code is checked live against your store. If it is active, the discount is applied before the guest pays, and the order reaches the kitchen with the reduced total already calculated.
A café owner wants to offer 10% off lunch orders above ₹300 for one week. Printing new cards or updating the digital menu item-by-item takes time, and staff may forget the rule. A simple code that the guest enters at checkout keeps the menu prices unchanged and the promotion controlled.
Retail shops face the same need for a seasonal flat discount on selected orders. The coupon lives with the store, not in a separate marketing tool.
Priya runs a small café. She opens Coupons & Offers in the NHY owner console, creates the code LUNCH10 as 10% off with a minimum order of ₹300 and a usage limit of 50. She sets it active. During service a guest scanning table 4 sees the option to enter a coupon, types LUNCH10, and the summary updates with the discount before they pay. The kitchen ticket shows the final amount. After 50 uses the code stops working automatically.
Codes must be unique within your store. Inactive coupons or codes that have reached their usage limit are rejected with a clear reason. The discount is calculated on the subtotal before tax and service charges where those apply.
On the order summary the guest sees a field for a coupon code. After they enter a valid code the subtotal, discount, tax and final total update immediately. Invalid codes show a short message and do not change the total. The order is placed with the discounted amount, and the kitchen and your reports reflect the final figure.
Creating and applying store coupons is available on every NHY plan. There is no separate monthly quota for the number of coupons you create or the number of times guests redeem them beyond the usage limit you set on each code. The feature uses the same order path already covered by your plan’s QR order allowance.

QR order volume remains the separate allowance shown for QR table ordering. Coupons do not add an extra order charge.
These coupons sit on the same order and payment path the app already uses. They do not change tax rules, inventory, or plan pricing.
Only if you leave the usage limit blank. Otherwise the code stops after the number of successful redemptions you set.
The kitchen receives the final order total after the discount. Item prices on the menu stay unchanged.
Yes. The active switch on the list or in the edit form stops the code immediately. Turn it back on later if you want.
